MEET OUR CATS!
RCR has started a new program, taking dogs from Adams County Shelter to different off-site locations, increasing their availability for adoption. We have been very successful so far and we are looking forward to expanding this program.
If you are interested in assisting us with this endeavor, volunteering at our "cat sanctuary" or helping us market the animals at Adams County Shelter, please go to our "Volunteer Section" for more information.We have many cats that are ready for adoption.

Keke My name is Keke and I 've lived at the Recycled Critter Rescue sanctuary for two of my three years. I really prefer humans to other cats, I enjoy cuddling and talking with people and don't want to share my person with other cats.
Frankie A couple of years ago I was abandoned as a small kitten and raised in foster care. I guess shy kittens get overlooked sometimes so I didn't get adopted and have never known my own home, having lived my whole two years of life in the Recycled Critter Rescue sanctuary. My name is Frankie, but I am a girl - and I love people and laps. I would like a quiet household though another cat would be nice. I just want someone to call my own.
Butter Some of us watched our babies get adopted, but no one came for us. Some of us, shy as kittens, were overlooked while our more boisterous siblings were fussed over and cuddled, leaving for their new homes as we stayed behind in the cage. But we have love to give, too, and hope that soon it can be our turn to have a home of our own.
